Hello! I'm not sure how many people are going to end up reading this blog but to those of you who are reading this I appreciate it!
I finally gathered up the courage to start a blog. As far as I know, and what I have planned, I'm going to be writing about things such as makeup, hair, music, high school (and the joys of it....*sigh*), dating, and just life in general. I want this blog to be a place where girls (and even maybe boys, too!) can come to feel like they can express themselves. I'm very passionate about making people feel empowered, and I want girls all around the world to feel beautiful. I don't like when girls compare themselves to Victoria's Secret adds or models from Abercrombie and Fitch. It's unrealistic. Every girl has a right to feel beautiful and strong.
I'm a teenage girl just trying to finish high school and make it out unscathed. I'm reserved and quiet sometimes but when you get me going there's no stopping me! :) I'm determined and confident (that came over time). I've been through some things that weren't so great and I feel stronger from it. I want girls to know that even though sometimes life is hard we can get through it one step at a time.

Now not everything is going to be so heavy and depressing, sometimes that may need to be addressed. Sometimes when I go back and read what I've just written I feel like people are like "wow, that was cheesey!" (Is that how you spell cheesey? I don't know...and I don't feel like checking at the moment. Hehe) But what I write is what I feel.
For now this is all I'm going to say. I'll be back in a few days and let you know how my first day of school went. *smiling on outside, sobbing on the inside* It should be rather interesting. Lol.
